Structural Engineering
We engineer inspirational structures, places and spaces that have a positive impact on the environment and put people at their heart.

We provide award-winning structural engineering services that put climate sensitivity and innovation at their heart. We blend art, science, technical excellence and emotional intelligence to shape our designs.
Our creative vision is brought to life through our exemplary graphical literacy, with both hand drawn sketching and digital designs deployed to demonstrate our thinking and share our vision.
We engineer at all scales, from city district regeneration, to urban renewal and masterplans, and for buildings of all types, spanning sectors including: cultural, commercial, residential, educational, community, public realm and healthcare.
We engineer new buildings, including tall buildings alongside the adaptation, reuse and refurbishment of existing and historic buildings, many of them listed, as well as engineering structures in the public realm that include bridges, art installations, sculptures and parks.

Our engineering services span the full life cycle of a project, from concept and creative inception, to construction, delivery, site inspection and post completion stages. Our work spans permanent structures, temporary structures and temporary works during construction.
We work with public sector clients, developers and main contractors in the delivery of projects, and pride ourselves in developing trusted relationships and long-term partnerships where we collaborate at every stage of a project’s development.

Our experience in the construction delivery of projects feeds back into our concept design work, always learning and seeking improvements for the next project.
The services we provide:
- Building structures of all types, cross sector
- Heritage and listed structures, including CARE
- Tall buildings
- Timber engineering
- Bridge engineering
- BIM, computational design, parametric modelling
- Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA)
- Temporary works
- Building Safety Act in England and Wales – safety case reports, Gateway submissions
- SER Certification in Scotland
- BCAR Certification in Ireland

Our engineering ethos is rooted in our system thinking approach. We actively champion, influence and innovate circular economy principles in our practice, and we are committed to material management and reuse strategies as part of our approach to low carbon and sustainability.
We engineer great structures that make places and spaces with positive impact, while staying ever conscious of the need to be responsible with the planet’s natural resources in our work.
We carefully blend art, science and technical skills to engineer great buildings, spaces and places, ever conscious of people, the planet and its natural resources.
