Northstowe

TOWN are working in partnership with Homes England to establish a unique development for the UK, combining two co-located co-housing communities with a total of 139 homes. The co-housing blocks feature custom-build homes with shared spaces and facilities for the community. A low-car, play street will offer a space for children play out safely, in view of the homes, and for neighbours to socialise. Our engineering and geoconsultancy teams are designing nature-based drainage infrastructure, efficient transport networks, and sustainable structural design to deliver a vibrant, connected, and future-ready community. We carried out site investigations and contamination testing to allow us to assess the engineering impacts on foundation strategies, site contamination remediation, and the overall drainage strategy.
