Liverpool Waters is a £5bn regeneration scheme revitalising Liverpool’s northern docklands, situated within a UNESCO World Heritage site. At a strategic level our team have played a pivotal role in setting the strategy for the delivery of sustainable, future-proof infrastructure, with a particular focus on transport and active travel strategies. This work has included input into the masterplan, Section 73 planning updates, a new Transport Assessment and Framework Travel Plan. Building on our strategic planning support we have undertaken the engineering design of the Central Docks infrastructure which will enable future development of the plots and includes a 4.7-acre urban park.
As the site evolves with new developments such as Everton FC’s stadium and over 6,500 homes, our engineers continue to ensure each element supports long-term connectivity, climate resilience and placemaking goals. Working closely with Peel L&P and other partners, we’re shaping a new chapter for Liverpool’s waterfront.
A transformative £5bn regeneration of Liverpool’s waterfront, Liverpool Waters connects heritage and innovation through people-focused infrastructure, sustainable travel, and new urban neighbourhoods designed for future generations.

Faced with a complex planning history and evolving site demands, our team has led significant transport modelling and updated assessments to support policy compliance and practical delivery - balancing development ambition with environmental and social responsibility.
