We’re proud to be sponsors for BCO’s inaugural ESG Summit, taking place on our doorstep in Manchester on 17th March.

As ESG expectations continue to rise, the Summit will bring together leaders from across the built environment to share perspectives, challenge thinking and explore what good looks like in practice.

The programme will include a series of panel discussions alongside building tours, combining strategic debate with practical, real-world learning.

As part of the day, our team will lead a panel session exploring material innovation and reuse, in old and new buildings and spaces.

Joining the panel will be:

  • Julian Broster, COO at Civic
  • Harriet Browning, senior associate and sustainability lead
  • Alan McBride, technical director at Muse
  • Rachel Hoolahan, assosciate director at Orms

We’ll also be taking the audience on a tour of one of our projects, Mayfield. Led by Richard Dowdall, regional director here at Civic and the Landsec team, the tour will focus on the impact of a system thinking approach, taking in the 20-acre Mayfield regeneration, which we are providing a range of design and consultancy services for.

Our tour will explore the latest at The Republic site, a new 300,000 sq ft gfa office building under construction set within the multi-award-winning Mayfield Park.

We’re long-term supporters of the BCO, and proud to lend our expertise in commercial office to support their events, research and content.
