Taking place in London from 14th – 15th May, the annual conference is a centre for the decarbonisation of the built environment.

Thousands of the brightest minds gather to explore how innovation and materials, energy systems and data can work together to drive down buildings’ carbon emissions.

See you there? If you’d like to meet up, please get in touch:

  • Rob Harris, director: rob.harris@team-civic.com
  • Jen Oliver, senior engineer: jen.oliver@civicengineers.com
  • Gareth Atkinson, director: gareth@civicengineers.com
  • Sunny Costin, graduate engineer: sunny.costin@civicengineers.com
  • Laura Norris, senior associate: laura.norris@civicengineers.com
  • Tom Robertson, design engineer: tom.robertson@civicengineers.com

From material reuse, residential retrofit to net zero leadership and system thinking, there are so many stories to share and innovations to learn from.

Promoting and implementing reuse is at the heart of what we do at Civic, with pioneering projects including The Elephant; Mayfield Park, Park Hill and Tileyard North.

As active advocates for faster chance in the industry, we were founding members of The Engineers Reuse Collective (tERC), a not-for-profit group committed to accelerating reuse in the built environment to support the transition of the UK’s construction industry to Net Zero Carbon, and Gareth chairs NLA’s Net Zero expert panel.
