Highlights from our summer away days
Safe to say our summer away days were a massive success

This summer, Civic teams swapped their studios for some fresh scenery, new adventures, and a fair bit of friendly competition. Dungeness, Edinburgh, and Marsden each hosted an away day for the memory books.
A day by the sea in the South West
The London studio headed south to explore the strange and beautiful landscape of Dungeness. With a tour from the land manager, they learned about the area’s mix of nature and industry (including a peek at the defueled nuclear power station).
The trip carried on with a ride on the miniature steam railway along the coast to New Romney, where the team enjoyed crazy golf, plenty of sunshine, and even a brave swim in the sea.

Festival Fever in Edinburgh
Scotland and Ireland’s studios chose Edinburgh at the height of the Fringe. The city was buzzing with performers, pop-up venues, and street theatre at every turn. The team soaked up the atmosphere and made the most of a rare chance to experience the festival together.

Monopoly, Marsden-Style
The Manchester and Leeds studios met halfway in Marsden for a challenge with a twist: ‘Marsden Monopoly.’ Part orienteering, part treasure hunt, it certainly brought out some of the teams competitive side!
When a thunderstorm rolled in, the team took shelter at Zapato Taproom, for good food and local brews.

Next year will be hard to top!
