Celebrating three golden Pineapple awards
Mayfield, Tileyard North and Woolwich Town Centre are recognised for the best in placemaking
In case you missed it, it was fantastic to see Mayfield, Tileyard North and Woolwich Town Centre take home pineapple crowns for place in progress, creative retrofit and public space respectively, at The Pineapples awards 2026.
We’re going to need a bigger fruit bowl…
All three projects share a common thread as places that are creating positive impact, with brilliant teams behind them:
- At Mayfield, that’s a transformative mixed-use masterplan delivering 1,500 new homes, commercial workspace, retail and leisure spaces and Manchester’s first city centre park in over 100 years, with Landsec, Manchester City Council, Transport for Greater Manchester & Studio Egret West, Morris+Company, shedkm & Bennetts Associates
- At Tileyard North, the final piece of a regeneration masterplan breathing new life into Wakefield’s waterfront, converting several Grade II-listed mills into a world-class mixed-use creative and cultural cluster, delivered by City and Provincial Properties in collaboration with Wakefield Council, Hawkins\Brown & Turley
- At Woolwich Town Centre, working with the Royal Borough of Greenwich, LDA Design, Studio Weave and Michael Grubb Studio and Studio Bosk Ltd to bring life back into the heart of Woolwich
The Pineapples celebrate places that thrive, where people want to live, work and spend time.
It’s great to see that recognised across three amazing projects we are providing a range of engineering, geoconsultancy and archaeology & heritage services on.

A proud moment for all involved, congratulations!
Thanks to The Developer and Festival of Place for another great night.
