I developed a passion for the past at a young age, eventually studying Archaeology at undergraduate level at University of Leicester, then an MA from University of Manchester in 2002. For over two decades, I’ve been immersed in the rich history of Britian, working on archaeological excavations and historic building surveys around the UK. This led me to join Civic in November 2024, where I lead archaeological excavations and evaluations, conducting surveys and utilise drone technology to further our understanding of sites.
I’m particularly excited to continue investigating the archaeological heritage of the north-west and beyond. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate and deliver their heritage obligations effectively, and importantly, communicating the significance of our discoveries to the public.
Outside of my work, I’m a keen live music enthusiast, frequently attending gigs and enjoy exploring new cultures, broadening my horizons through travel with my family.
