Hello! I’m Olivia, and I lead Civic’s climate resilience services; working across all our disciplines to help clients understand how climate change affects their projects and to embed resilient, adaptable and low‑carbon design from the outset. My work centres on climate-related physical and transition risk modelling, vulnerability assessments, and translating complex climate science into clear, actionable guidance for the built environment.
Before joining Civic, I spent seven years in sustainability advisory where I established and directed a global climate team supporting private REIT clients across Europe, the US and Asia. During this time, I also completed four secondments, working directly within client organisations and project teams to integrate climate and wider sustainability considerations into their decision-making. My technical background is rooted in understanding the physical drivers of climate risk, using paleoclimate datasets and climate systems knowledge to inform future climate modelling and scenario analysis. Ultimately, I’m motivated by helping people make sense of climate change and understand the ways in which it shapes our lives and the places we design.
Outside of work, I thrive on being active and outdoors. I have a particular love for long days on the bike and for endurance challenges, from cycling to MIPIM to competing in the Ironman World Championships. I’m also a qualified yoga instructor, keen crafter, and enjoy travelling and exploring new landscapes whenever I can.
