Hi, I’m Natalie, an Archaeological Consultant based in Manchester. In my role, I produce reports for a diverse range of sites across the UK, including desk-based assessments, historic environment assessments, heritage statements and environmental statement chapters.
I have always been interested in the stories of the past, which led me to complete a BA in History and an MA degree in Medieval and Early Modern Studies at the University of Kent. After this I worked at a museum in Manchester, where I would engage with school groups and families, bringing Manchester’s industrial history to life.
Wanting to explore this passion for the past further, I started working in archaeology in 2021 and have been immersed in it ever since. I am particularly passionate about making archaeology accessible for future generations and local communities. Alongside my project work, I have taken part in community excavations and have conducted school visits.
When not working I enjoy reading, being outdoors and exploring new places, and also going to gigs around Manchester.
