Laurie is a legally trained quality and risk management professional with more than 13 years’ experience in senior roles across the built environment.
He works at the intersection of legal, compliance, and risk mitigation, supporting services spanning engineering, architecture, and archaeological consultancy. His expertise covers contract and appointment advice, insurance matters, legal and commercial risk management, and the maintenance of ISO‑accredited systems in quality, health and safety, and environmental management (9001, 14001, 45001).
Laurie also leads our Net Zero programme, championing sustainability initiatives and driving carbon reduction across all operations.
"I've always been a music lover and the early part of my career was spent in various roles within recording studios, record labels, and publishing. Although I’ve (mostly) put the wild west of the music biz behind me, I’m still an avid music fan and thoroughly enjoy a good rummage around markets and bargain bins to add to my vinyl collection."
