Hi, I’m Kieran and I am part of the Transport & Movement team here at Civic's London studio. I combine my passions for sustainability, accessibility and active travel with delivery of transport strategies and urban infrastructure.
Having originally gained my MEng in Civil Engineering, specialising in geotechnics, I began my professional career in digital media and marketing working with multinational direct to consumer brands. However, a growing interest in active travel and inclusive design led me back to the world of built environment, where I am now focused on delivering infrastructure that helps create healthier, better connected communities. I also hold an MSc in Psychology, giving me a strong understanding of human behaviour and a particular interest in how multidisciplinary approaches can encourage positive travel choices and behavioural change.
Outside work I am a keen cyclist and volunteer with the London Cycling Campaign, helping to map London’s protected cycling infrastructure. I also enjoy exploring new cities and sampling their cycleways!
