My main role is providing mostly graphical support to both the bidding and comms team day-to-day. I also do some background admin work and help out on or run small bids. I joined Civic in 2022 after working in customer-focused roles previously both in service and in telecommunications. Switching to an internal role within construction was truly a blessing in disguise as I feel like I’ve flourished beyond expectations in my career since then, having not known anything about the industry at the start!
I’m truly passionate about visual communication and accessibility. I do like to say “I just make pretty pictures” but the pictures mean nothing if they don’t tell you something. I love the challenge of being provided with a difficult brief / concept and creating something impactful, meaningful, and easy to follow from it.
I love baking, sewing, painting, crafts, photography, travelling with my husband and gaming. I'm a bit of a menace, so my house constantly looks like a craft-orientated tornado has passed through it at all times, minimalism is definitely not in my wheelhouse!
