Hi, Im Jolee, an apprentice civil engineer in the UIM Manchester team, and I joined Civic in August 2025. Alongside completing my BEng Hons degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Salford, I work at Civic 4 days a week, helping with drainage design, highway design and using different softwares to help create healthier and happier spaces for all!
I was first introduced to Civic when I was lucky enough to attend MIPIM at just 18 years old! Through my work with Regeneration Brainery, I have attended amazing conferences such as MIPIM and even got the chance to talk on a few panels at UKREiiF, as something I am very passionate about is inspiring the younger generation about the vast amount of career opportunities within the built environment.
In my spare time, I love to travel and watch live music. I think the best holiday I had was sailing through the Norwegian Fjords, and the best concert I have seen is tied between Zach Bryan and Depeche Mode!
