Hi I’m Harry, and I’ve been based in Civic’s Manchester Office since joining the team in October 2025. During my time at Civic, I have worked as a Technical Administrator for the Heritage and Earth teams and have more recently transitioned into the role of Graduate Environmental Consultant within the Earth & Environment team.
During my time at Civic, I have developed a strong understanding of both the technical and non-technical aspects of the profession, helping to support project management alongside technical report writing across multiple teams and project disciplines.
My particular interests focus on Green Infrastructure, which I studied as my MSc at University of Manchester before joining Civic. This background has helped spark an interest in projects focused on biodiversity, air quality, heat resilience and flood management, particularly at the interface between the built and natural environments.
Outside of work, I am a bit of sports fanatic and regularly play football and tennis as well as enjoying swimming and hiking. I have also created a ever-growing travel bucket list of places to visit within the next 10 years. My best trip so far has been a three-week trip to Brazil travelling a route from Rio De Janeiro to Sao Paulo, as well as amazing trips to Norway, Slovenia and the Greek Islands.
