Hi I am Grace, and I am a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer! I graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2025 with a BSc (Hons) in Geology, which included a year-long placement working in nature recovery. After completing my degree, I spent some time working and travelling in Western Australia and Scotland.
Over the course of my degree I became passionate about understanding the whole system of the living landscape, actively developing my interests in geology, nature recovery, archaeology, and sustainability. I am particularly interested in bringing sustainability back to the forefront of practises, whether that be on a large scale or on a small everyday scale. I believe that working with the natural environment brings many mutual benefits, leading people to live healthier and happier lives, having experienced the benefits myself.
A few of my passions include travelling, hiking, reading and sewing. My favourite country to have travelled to so far is Iceland, having climbed up the volcano Eldfell, and I very much look forward to returning to traverse the whole ring road!
