Hi I'm Chris, Associate Director and Chartered Civil Engineer based in our Manchester Studio.
I'm passionate about providing sustainable designs whether this includes sustainable drainage, re-using materials from site such as balancing earthwork volumes or making use of existing pavements. I also have a keen interest in 3D design particularly when it comes to coordination between various design disciplines and making the best use of software to provide a more efficient way of working.
Early in my career, I worked as a land surveyor and site engineer which further supported my decision making in later designs to achieve practical, deliverable solutions for projects and gain a strong understanding of challenges such as construction sequencing. My favourite project I've worked on is Stretford Kingsway, which has won a Pineapple Award in 2025.
