Our engineers are developing the design for the conversion of the Sandilands Golf Course to a wetland nature reserve and visitor centre. The landscape and habitat brief is to establish a wetland that captures and retains rainfall onsite to create habitat for migratory birds among other species within the wetland areas.  We are also refurbishing the old golf club house into a new visitor centre building which requires flood protection from the wider wetland landscape.
