At UKREiiF this year, our director Gareth Atkinson is set to take part in an insightful discussion on the circular economy and retrofit.

Taking part on Wednesday at 8am at the Willmott Dixon Pavilion, the panel will discuss how sustainability principles can drive real change in construction, management, and occupation.

The top lineup will share valuable lessons from pioneering projects that puts net zero at the forefront of every decision. Hear from:

  • Annie Brafield, director at Cartwright Communications and panel chair
  • Gareth Atkinson, director at Civic
  • Kemi Owoeye, technical lead for sustainable design at Willmott Dixon
  • Sarah Halpin, director at Ramboll
  • Jamie Quinn, sustainability director at Related Argent

Gareth is proud to be Chair of NLA’s Net Zero Expert Panel (NZEP). The new cycle of the panel kicked off earlier this year, bringing together new members and setting the tone for the year ahead with a clear focus: tackling the built environment’s role in achieving net zero.

“The circular economy needs to mature and grow into its own profitable and thriving market. In the meantime, collaboration across the industry is key for the advancement of reuse buildings and materials.” – Gareth Atkinson
